How TimeClick Device Licenses Work
You pay for devices, not people. Your office computer is the server, and every other computer or phone that connects to it is a client. Here is how to count them.

Your first device is the server
The first device must be a computer. It stores all your time data on site, so only you can see it.

Every other device is a client
Each computer or phone that connects to the server is a client. Phones use the TimeClick mobile app for iPhone and Android.

Pick a license that covers them all
Count the server plus every client. A 5-device license is 1 server and 4 clients.
A 3-employee accounting office buys the 3 Device License for $599
The office desktop is the server. A laptop and one phone that employees clock in on are the 2 clients.

Which TimeClick license is right for my company?

How many employees can I track?
Unlimited employees. You only pay for each device that you install TimeClick on.
What is the difference between a 1-device license and a multi-device license?
A 1-device license runs TimeClick on one computer only, with no other workstations and no phones. A multi-device license lets you connect more devices to your server. Every device, phones included, counts as one device.
How does TimeClick Unlimited work?
It gives you new versions of TimeClick, unlimited US-based support, the mobile app and location features (paid add-on). Your first year is free with any license. After that you can renew at a yearly rate.
How does the mobile app work?
Employees clock in and out from their phone or tablet, and every punch goes to your TimeClick server. You need TimeClick Unlimited and at least a 2-device license.
What if I have multiple offices?
Use the mobile app at each location, set up a VPN between offices, or use remote desktop software to reach the server.
Can I change my license later?
Yes. Upgrade any time by paying the difference. Contact us to change your license.
What happens after I purchase?
Your license activates right away, so you can start using TimeClick the same day.
